The Chardonnay were planted on the loamy Ferguson River bed soils in 1997. As the area had been used for market gardens in the past, the vines were field grafted onto Schwartzman root stock. The combination of good soils and root stock has produced very vigorous high yielding vines. Our first vintage in 2001 yielded about 1,200 bottles from 1.7 tonne. All our wine is made by Mark Messenger at Juniper Estate, Margaret River.

2009 Vintage Sparkling Chardonnay –  The grapes for this wine(a blend of Gin Gin and Clone 7 Chardonnay grapes) is handpicked, whole bunch pressed and made in the traditional Methode Champenoise.
