LATEST NEWS

Success, success, success! 2006/07 will be hard to top: gold medals, awards and trophies plus a stellar growing season which has produced quality fruit for wines to come.

At the Geographe Wine Show we were very pleased when our 2004 Chardonnay was awarded a gold medal, and excited when it was judged best in its class. We were overjoyed when it then took out the best white wine of the show, and absolutely stunned when the 2004 Chardonnay was awarded the trophy for Wine of the Show. These accolades were backed up with the 2004 Chardonnay winning a gold medal at the Blackwood Valley Boutique Wine show and a 4-star write up in Winestate Magazine.

Success again when the 2005 Geographe Chardonnay also won gold at the Blackwood Valley Boutique Wine Show then more excitement as it won the Trophy for Best West Australian White Wine in the show. The 2005 has also scored a Gold Medal in Winewise October Magazine.

These awards allowed both the 2004 and 2005 Geographe Chardonnays to be 2 of 9 wines entered into the taste-off for the Best of the Best at the Wine Industry Awards 2006 Western Australia.

Other St Aidan wines to have success were the 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon and 2006 Myra Muscat/Chardonnay Blend - both won Bronze medals at the Qantas Wine Show of Western Australia Mt Barker. The 2005 Cabernet Merlot received a Bronze Medal at the Geographe Wine Show.

NEW RELEASES

2007 sees the release of our Sybil Classic Dry White, a crisp and fruity blend of Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. This wine complements our Sister Series range and is a perfect partner for light lunches and most fish or chicken dishes.

Later in the year we will be releasing our 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon and our 2006 Geographe Chardonnay and, we hope, our first release of the liqueur Muscat.
